Gabardine is a tough, tightly woven fabric known for it's durability and style. Garbardine is woven as a warp-faced steep or regular twill, with a prominent diagonal rib on the face and smooth surface on the back. Gabardine has a tendency to hold its shape and not wrinkle too easily.
This high quality worsted wool blend gabardine fabric is produced in Germany. It drapes extremely well and can be used to make dresses, skirts, uniforms, suits, trousers and elegant slacks.
Very suitable for making uniforms for theater companies, carnival associations, orchestras and brass bands.
